child soldier

this is a drawing i made for the group about human trafficking. this group is all about the desire to stop humans from using other humans as they wish.

in my opinion, child soldiers are also a slave of others. Of the big guys who start the war, but they're are to afraid 'cause they KNOW the risks. so they search for someone who doesn't know ... LITTLE KIDS!!!!

like every animal, humans have to learn their children to recognize dangerous situations. Normally a little child knows that he has to be scared because his mother is, but these children don't have a mother abymore and they don't have anyone else to warn them. by the time that they are old enough to realize what they're doing, they can no longer turn back and it is a matter of life and dead for them if they don't do what their 'superiors' tell them to do.

and it isn't something that only happens in other countries. not even a hundred years ago it happend in europe too, during the second world war. it happend when our grandparents where just little kids, this means that it really can happen anywhere, if nobody does something about it.

this is the same for all human trafficking, that is why i suggest that everyone of us starts to think about this serious crime and in wich forms you can find it.
